The origin of Taylor Gang got some Wiz love today. Going to class does pay off. At least in Pittsburgh. Today Wiz Khalifa revisited his old high school, Taylor Allderice. He talked with kids who are earning college scholarships through good attendance and grades. Hit the jump to see what he handed out.

1,700 backpacks. Wiz brought gifts for every kid in the audience.
“I just wanted to tell them to be themselves,” he said. “Let them know they’re doing the right thing with their lives right now by going to school and dreaming big and just trying to figure it all out.”
